Protein Cookies

Tease yourself with these heaven sent saviours, don’t they look divine?

Think they’ll be difficult? Think again! These cookies only contain 5 ingredients and are the easiest things in the world to make. Seriously, I once had to get a boyfriend to make a set of cup cakes for me after my 2 failed attempts and screaming tantrum. If I can do it then so can you.

I can’t take all of the credit for this recipe, I actually got it from www.musclefood.com (best website for bulk buying food ever!) so for once I have the macros and they are detailed under the recipe if you need them.

YOU WILL NEED

  • 65g peanut butter – (crunchy is best)
  • 52g whey protein powder – (I recommend vanilla flavour)
  • 25g almond flour – (find it in with the nuts at your local supermarket)
  • 60ml milk – (almond/coconut works best)
  • A handful of dark chocolate chips – (use 2 handfuls)

MAKING MAGIC

  • Remember to preheat your oven to 180C
  • Throw all of the ingredients into a bowl
  • Mix it all up until it’s a sticky mess
  • Turn your hands into a sticky mess by grabbig chunks of the dough and moulding it into cookie shapes
  • Place the cookies onto a well greased baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes
  • BOOM! YOU HAVE COOKIES!!

TIP 1: I found it easier to roll my dough into balls and then squish them into cookies when they were on the tray.

TIP 2: This makes about 4 big cookies so you can share!!

MACROS

Per cookie:

  • 270kcal
  • 17g Protein
  • 9g Carbs
  • 20g Fat

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! I’m currently on a ketogenic diet so I save these for my cheat day however they’re great any time if you’re a flexible dieter or if you just want some protein packed cookies without all the crap in them!

I would highly recommend eating the sticky dough off of your hands afterwards.

ENJOY
